Job Title: General Sales Manager

Location: UAE

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative General Sales Manager for premium and volume brand passenger car importer for a large GCC based automotive group. The ideal candidate will be an out of the box thinker with a deep understanding of the customer journey and sales and reporting processes. You must be able to coach and train sales teams across multiple showrooms, meet corporate targets, and achieve aggressive growth targets.


  • Manage the sales team and oversee daily operations in multiple showrooms
  • Set meetings and monitor leads, converting them into sales
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve corporate targets and aggressive growth targets
  • Analyse sales reports and adjust sales activities to meet targets
  • Train and coach sales trams to improve their skills and achieve their targets
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop sales campaigns and promotions
  • Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • Participate in recruiting and hiring sales team members
  • Manage the budget and ensure all expenses are within budget


  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 5 years in a management position
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse sales reports and adjust sales activities
  • Ability to train and coach sales teams
  • Understanding of the customer journey and sales process
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an out of the box thinker
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
