Our client is a leading group with a strong presence in the GCC automotive sector. They are spearheading the development of electrical vehicle (EV) infrastructure, focusing on expanding EV adoption through innovative solutions.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Energy - Electric Vehicle Infrastructure. This pivotal position will play a key role in driving the company's ambitious plans for the development of EV infrastructure, particularly in relation to car showrooms and government services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of EV infrastructure projects, including the rollout of in-place and portable battery solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement innovative solutions for modular EV battery replacement stations.
  • Oversee the technical aspects of EV infrastructure implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive sales and franchising efforts for EV infrastructure projects, leveraging knowledge of the EV market and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with Chinese automotive manufacturers to integrate EV infrastructure solutions into their operations.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in EV technology and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of professionals working on EV infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in EV infrastructure implementation, with a strong understanding of technical and strategic aspects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the European EV market and industry trends preferred.
  • Experience working in the automotive or energy sector is highly desirable.
