Job Title: Parts Supervisor/Manager
Location: Kuwait
Package: KD 750-850 + Incentive bonus + car
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Parts Supervisor/Manager to oversee the parts operations of multiple franchised brands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 6 staff handling the parts operations for the Service and Bodyshop departments as well as developing the trade sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the parts warehouse, ensuring stock levels are maintained at optimum levels.
- Order parts for accident damage to minimize downtime in the body shop.
- Develop and grow trade sales.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory and ensure regular stock checks are conducted.
- Manage and motivate a team of 6 parts staff, ensuring they are trained to the highest standard.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, negotiating pricing and delivery terms.
- Provide technical assistance and advice to both internal and external customers.
- Work closely with the service and body shop departments to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time.
- Monitor the performance of the parts department, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of parts and accessories, vehicle park versus stock, and good mechanical knowledge.
- Experience in developing and growing trade sales.
- Proven track record in managing a parts department.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
