Group Director – Enterprise Technology & Transformation

A large automotive group in the GCC is seeking an exceptional technology leader to shape and execute its digital future.

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, this is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving enterprise-wide digital transformation, modernising technology platforms, strengthening data and analytics capabilities, and ensuring technology serves as a catalyst for business growth, operational excellence and customer experience.

This opportunity will appeal to executives who view technology as a core business enabler rather than simply an IT function.

The Role

As Group Director – Enterprise Technology & Transformation, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the organisation's technology and digital transformation strategy across multiple business units, leading a substantial technology function and managing a significant portfolio of enterprise programmes and technology investments.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Enterprise digital transformation strategy
• Technology leadership and governance
• Enterprise applications and systems integration
• Data, analytics and business intelligence
• Cybersecurity, risk and compliance
• Infrastructure, cloud and operational resilience
• Technology investment, budgeting and vendor management
• Building and developing high-performing technology teams

Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, you will help shape future operating models, improve customer journeys, increase efficiency and create measurable commercial value through technology.

The Individual

You will possess:

• A proven track record leading enterprise-wide digital transformation programmes
• Experience operating at executive and board level
• Strong commercial and financial acumen
• Expertise across enterprise applications, data, cybersecurity and technology governance
• Experience managing complex multi-disciplinary technology organisations
• Outstanding stakeholder management and leadership skills
• The ability to translate business strategy into technology-enabled outcomes
